We’re moving to Ireland! Kinsale, County Cork, to be exact.
This blog will capture the discoveries, worries and adventures of leaving Indiana for three years in Ireland. Look for details on moving internationally, sites to see and cultural experiences.
But since I’m also a writer, you may find updates on my latest projects, tips on writing, and maybe even some actual prose. If you’re interested, check out my feature writer topic page, Writing Fiction, at Suite101.com.
You’ll also find comments on genealogy, my own successes and brick walls as well as tips for others and links to great websites.
In between all that, there will probably be some personal stuff you can suffer through if you wish.

I need more time to read your blog. I am teaching writing to highly gifted students this year and with your permission, I would like to use your great quotes from literature article with your name ON IT, of course. I have three students one-on-one this year. I was thinking of compiling one for them, but yours is good and already done. (Teachers are starved for time). I will probably add a few from books like Harry Potter and other children’s lit.
On a side note, I also write, like genealogy and I have lived abroad. The parallels are interesting. Thank you and I’ll look forward to hearing from you.l
